The Economic Section of the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C. supported by the Agriculture Section, hosted an engaging briefing on Malaysia’s role as ASEAN Chair in 2025, with special focus on the Economic Pillar. H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz opened with inspiring remarks, reaffirming Malaysia’s dedication to inclusivity and sustainability.

 

Mr. Syed Mohd Faizal, Minister (Economic Affairs), delivered an insightful presentation on the ASEAN Economic Community focusing on development of the Priority Economic Deliverables (PEDs), aimed at advancing key regional economic initiatives to promote deeper integration and cooperation among ASEAN Member states.
