COURTESY CALL BY IR. DR. MAHZAN TEH, DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF MARA
On 2 December 2025, H.E. Ambassador Tan Sri Shahrul Ikram received a courtesy call from Ir. Dr. Mahzan Teh, Deputy Director General of MARA at Rumah Malaysia.
The meeting focused on the welfare and academic progress of MARA-sponsored students in the U.S., as well as ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination between the Embassy and MARA to ensure sustained support for Malaysian students.
Discussions also explored new avenues for collaboration in high-tech industries, including semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI) with major U.S. companies.
