CRITICAL MINERALS MINISTERIAL MEETING
YB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, undertook a working visit to Washington, D.C. from 3–4 February 2026 for the 2026 Critical Minerals Ministerial Meeting, officiated by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
In his intervention, he stressed that securing critical minerals is a shared responsibility and welcomed collaboration with like minded partners committed to responsible and resilient supply chains, reaffirming Malaysia’s role as a credible economic partner in Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific.
