Diaspora dinner at The Embassy of Malaysia hosted by YB Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Minister of Finance II
In Washington, D.C., YB Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Minister of Finance II, hosted a dinner for the Malaysian diaspora in the US.
Ambassador Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz and Datin Seri Haflin Nazri Aziz received YB Minister at the Embassy. Also in attendance were Datuk Shaik Abdul Rasheed Abdul Ghaffour, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia and Dato' Zamzuri bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Policy).
The dinner provided an opportunity for fellow Malaysians living in the US to connect with Minister in person.
As guests enjoyed their meals of traditional Malay cuisine, the Minister engaged in a lively discussion; sharing insights into YAB Prime Minister’s new Madani Economy framework. YB Minister elaborated on the Government’s initiatives for a more inclusive and sustainable economic growth, highlighting particularly the importance of digital transformation.
