THE 76^TH MALAYSIAN ARMED FORCES DAY

RECEPTION

11 NOVEMBER 2009

 

 

His Excellency Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin Jarjis hosted the 76^th Malaysian Armed Forces Day reception on 11 November 2009. The Guest-of-Honor for the event was Major General Gregory Alan Schumacher who represented General George Casey, Chief of Staff of the US Army. 

 

In his speech, H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin thanked his guests for taking the time to attend the 76^th Malaysian Armed Forces day.  He also said that he was pleased that we can celebrate Malaysia’s many men and women serving in the Malaysian armed forces on the same day as the United States honor its veterans. 

 

More than 200 people from US senior military officials, military attachés, the Pentagon staff including officials from other US Government agencies attended the Malaysian Armed Forces Day reception.
