His Excellency Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin Jarjis, Malaysia’s Ambassador-designate to the USA arrived in Washington, D.C. to take up his assignment on 1 September 2009. H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin was accompanied by Datin Sri Dr. Kalsom Ismail and his two children.

 

H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin was greeted by all staff at the Embassy’s entrance and was warmly welcomed in a gathering at the Embassy’s Grand Hall.

 

In his remarks, H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin conveyed the Prime Minister’s warmest greetings. He looked forward to working towards strengthening Malaysia-US relations and take it to a higher level.

 

H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin also expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from the staff and hoped that the Embassy will continue to support him and work together as one strong team in the spirit of 1Malaysia.
