THE BREAKING OF FAST/IFTAR IN HONOR OF H.E. AMBASSADOR DATO’ SRI DR. JAMALUDIN JARJIS AT TUN HUSSEIN HALL, EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA WASHINGTON, D.C. 2 SEPTEMBER 2009

 

His Excellency Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin Jarjis attended a breaking of fast at the Embassy of Malaysia on 2 September 2009.

 

The event began with the recital of doa’ by Ustaz Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdullah and call to prayers by Haji Musa Man. The breaking of fast/iftar continued with Isya’ and Tarawikh prayers at the Embassy’s multi-purpose hall.

 

In this holy month of Ramadhan, H.E. Dato’ Sri Dr. Jamaludin reminded all Muslims to continue the practice of giving alms to the poor and to be thankful for the things we have.
