U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT HOSTS FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA
On 31 July 2013, the U.S. Department of State hosted a farewell reception for His Excellency Datuk Othman Hashim, Ambassador of Malaysia to the U.S. The event was hosted by Her Excellency Capricia Marshall, Chief of Protocol. The event was attended by officials from various Departments and Agencies of the U.S. Government, members of the business community, academia, think tanks, NGOs and Malaysian Embassy officials. Both sides reiterated the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting further avenues of cooperation.
