RENUNCIATION OF CITIZENSHIP
Under the Constitution of Malaysia - Article 24 Termination of Citizenship, the Government of Malaysia does not recognize dual nationality.
Please be informed that Malaysian Citizens who wish to renounce their citizenships are required to produce the following documents and come in person for the thumb prints at the Consular Section of this office:
- The applicant need to fill-up FORM K (2 sets)
- Original Malaysian Passport
- Original Malaysian Identification Card
- Original Malaysian Birth Certificate
- US Passport- Two passport size photos
- Renunciation Fee USD 4.00 (Postal order or cash only)
