14112025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia, delivered a talk on 'ASEAN – Experience for Central Asia' at the Non-State Higher Educational Institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Diplomat University. The session focused on sharing the lessons, best practices, and strategies of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) that could serve as a model for enhancing regional cooperation, economic integration, and diplomatic engagement in Central Asia.
During the talk, His Excellency highlighted ASEAN’s approaches to trade facilitation, cultural exchange, and multilateral collaboration, offering practical insights for students, academics, and professionals interested in fostering regional connectivity and sustainable development in the Central Asian context
