Tourism Networking Seminar and B2B in collaboration with LADA and Batik Air - 22 November 2025
22112025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia, attended the Tourism Networking Seminar and Business-to-Business (B2B) Session, an event organized through the joint collaboration of the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) and Batik Air. The programme served as a strategic platform for tourism leaders, airline partners, travel agencies, and industry stakeholders to exchange insights and foster meaningful cooperation. This is a good development as private and public sectors use the current excellent relations between the two nations after the visionary visits by YAB Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reflecting the fast development in relations following the official visit by the YAB Prime Minister after more than 14 years without a high-level visit.
During the session, participants explored new avenues for market expansion, discussed emerging travel trends, and identified opportunities for strengthening connectivity to Langkawi and other key destinations. The engagement also highlighted the importance of public–private partnerships in driving tourism growth, enhancing service offerings, and improving visitor experiences.
