Opening of the Condolence Book - YAB Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia
22042025 The Embassy of Malaysia in Tashkent extends its heartfelt appreciation to the officials from the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and members of the Diplomatic Corps in Tashkent, who visited the Embassy to sign the Book of Condolence, in honour of the passing of the Honourable Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia, who passed away on 14 April 2025.
The condolence book was opened for signing from 16 and 17 April 2025. A special session for the condolence book was held on 21 April 2025, at the request of the officials from the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Embassy deeply mourns the loss of a distinguished statesman who served the nation with unwavering dedication and humility. His contributions to Malaysia’s development and to international diplomacy will be remembered with the highest regard and respect.
