23112024 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias organized a cultural event for Malay language students in collaboration with Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) and the Uzbek State World Languages University (UZSWLU).
The event celebrated cultural diversity while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Malay language and culture. Key highlights included traditional performances, a Pidato (speech presentation), and the presentation of Malay books to (TSUOS) and (UZSWLU). This meaningful initiative provided students with a unique platform to improve their linguistic skills, expand their cultural horizons, and further strengthen the bonds between Malaysia and Uzbekistan. This event is also an appreciation for the students who are willing to learn the language. They hope to meet youth from Malaysia as well as to see what opportunities can be explored.
