Launching the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme organized by Tourism Malaysia (Almaty)

On 29 August 2026, HE Ambassador Rafedah Abd. Aziz had the honour of launching the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme organized by Tourism Malaysia (Almaty). Along with Mr Nor Shazly Azmi, Director of Tourism Malaysia (Almaty), Mr Arhan Shah Anuar, Counsellor/Deputy Chief of Mission and Mr Salahuddin Idris, Consular Officer from the Embassy of Malaysia in Tashkent, Uzbekistan were also in attendance. The event was attended by more than 60 participants comprising media journalists, travel operators, property realtors and prospectus buyers of the MM2H packages. This was the first tourism event that specifically promotes the MM2H programme in Uzbekistan with the participation of the Embassy. During the event, participants were briefed on the on-going Visit Malaysia Year 2026 which has been extended till the end of 2027, Malaysian immigration procedures and property ownerships by participants of the MM2H programme
