ASEAN DAY CELEBRATION IN CARACAS
On 11 August 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Caracas, as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Caracas (ACC), proudly hosted the 59th ASEAN Day Wreath-Laying Ceremony. The event brought together the Embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, along with the Honorary Consulate of Thailand in Caracas, to commemorate nearly six decades of ASEAN cooperation, friendship, and shared aspirations.
The ceremony was graced by H.E. Félix Plasencia, Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Venezuela.
Guided by the theme 'Navigating Our Future, Together,' ASEAN Day 2026 reflects our collective aspirations for a peaceful, prosperous, sustainable, and people-centered region.
