THE ASEAN COCOA CLUB (ACC) HELD ITS 24TH MEETING OF THE NATIONAL FOCAL POINT ON ASEAN COOPERATION AND JOINT APPROACHES IN AGRICULTURE AND FOREST PRODU
The ASEAN Cocoa Club (ACC) held its 24th Meeting of the National Focal Point on ASEAN Cooperation and Joint Approaches in Agriculture and Forest Products Promotion Scheme (NFPA) in Vung Tau City on 7-12 October 2024. .
The Consul General and Assistant Trade Commissioner (MATRADE) were invited to attend the opening ceremony on 9 October. Besides serving as a platform to maintain annual activities between cocoa producing countries in the ASEAN bloc, the event served to share information on technical advances in cocoa production, as well as perspectives and cocoa production strategies among ASEAN countries. This year, Malaysia’s delegation was headed by Datuk Dr. Ramle Hj. Kasin, Director General of Malaysian Cocoa Board, who is also the Chairman of the ASEAN Cocoa Club.
