INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR "ASEAN EMPLOYMENT OUTLOOK: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES" HOSTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES (USSH) IN HO
On 26 November 2024, Consul General Firdauz Othman attended the International Seminar "ASEAN Employment Outlook: Opportunities and Challenges" hosted by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) in Ho Chi Minh City.
The seminar was attended by distinguished guests, including the ASEAN Consuls General from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, and Thailand. Attendees were offered a comprehensive overview of the current job market and the necessary skills and qualifications for a multicultural work environment.
In his speech, Consul General Firdauz Othman shared some of the initiatives outlined by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City that are tailored to the specific needs and aspirations of the youth and students of Vietnam. As Malaysia prepares to assume the Chair of ASEAN in 2025, these initiatives will be further expanded in line with the ASEAN theme of "Inclusivity and Sustainability”.
