The Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City opened a Condolence Book on 16–17 April 2025 to honor the passing of the esteemed former Prime Minister of Malaysia, H.E. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who passed away on 14 April 2025. This solemn occasion saw many government representatives and members of the consular corps pay their respects. Notably, H.E. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, joined fellow diplomats in offering their heartfelt tribute.
