On 17 October 2025, Consul General Firdauz Othman paid a visit to Vinh Long Province, and had a fruitful courtesy call on  H.E. Chairman of the People’s Committee Lu Quang Ngoi to discuss on various collaborative areas such as trade, investment, agriculture, clean energy, education, and cultural exchange. 

Both sides recognized the vast potential to deepen economic cooperation, innovation, and cultural understanding.
