BRINGING HOME THE DEBRIS OF MH370 Following recent reports that objects believed to be the debris of the missing MH370 were found on the shores of South Africa, Mozambique and Madagascar, the Malaysian Government dispatched 2 officers to the three countries to bring home the debris for verification. The two officers from the Transport Ministry and the Civil Aviation Dept. respectively spent a total of 10 days in Madagascar, South Africa and Mozambique from 4 to 13 December 2016 to receive the debris from the relevant authorities and transported them back to Malaysia. The officers paid a visit to the High Commission on 9 December 2016 to thank the High Commission for coordinating their mission. Malaysian High Commission Pretoria
